What Makes Our Services Unique
Our spiritual leader, Rabbi Marcey Wagner, leads all of our services. As an ordained Cantor, she uses her beautiful voice and Torah knowledge to enhance the prayer experience. On the High Holidays, Rabbi Wagner is joined by our inspirational volunteer choir and every member of the community is given an opportunity for an honor, and to participate in a meaningful way. Our moving Kol Nidre service culminates with a soulful cello duet. Friends and family leave our services with a holiday gift bag and a renewed sense of emotional peace and hope for the coming year.
In addition to our High Holiday Services, we celebrate the holidays together throughout the year and hold monthly Shabbat services. These too are filled with music, tradition, prayer, learning and lively discussion. Of course, services are followed by onegs that provide us the opportunity for a quick nosh and ample time for schmoozing with fellow worshippers.
Chavurat Emet is not only a gathering of friends, but we also make it possible for families to worship together by offering affordable family membership that includes the entire extended family (grandparents, children and grandchildren).
